Bows Soccer run football training courses and camps in Hertfordshire for children between the ages of 2 and 13 years old.
Established in 2012 by ex-Tottenham and England youth player Ben Bowditch, Bows Soccer had already had two websites prior to approaching us, but as their previous website was developed in WordPress, it had reached its limitation leaving Ben unable to progress the business as it was already very reliant on the capabilities of the website.
Ben needed a website that not only allowed him to expand on his already successful football development centres and holiday camps, but which also delivered the ability to book courses and via a backend system, allowed him to better manage the players, courses and payments directly through the website.
It was important that the various courses were promoted separately to each target audience based on the age group and provided enough information on each to encourage parents of children to sign up for a free trial session.
Whilst going through the process of having a new website developed, it was also a good time to modernise the design and take advantage of features such as video which in this instance, prove a very clear visual experience of what players and their parents can expect.
As is almost always the case, we started work on the initial design concept based around the new branding guidelines and elements we were provided with.
To make an interesting and more visual introductio, we also used a drone to film some of their training sessions which we then used in the background of the home page.
The new responsive website itself was designed to help promote the main courses and holiday camps offered at Bows Soccer by providing more detailed information about them including the venues they are held at.
We created an online booking form linked to a system that would allow parents to login and manage booking of future courses, including making payments.
