PHP still the number one web development platform

PHP is the main language that we use to develop our sites. Whether you’re a Hertfordshire based business or a large interactive website, PHP is still the number one development platform for dynamic websites.

As of January 2010, PHP still has over 75% of the market place. Microsoft’s ASP.Net lost its share to PHP at a steady pace to PHP in 2009. While other newer platforms such as Ruby or ColdFusion still have a small share, their usage is still marginal at best.

Yes, totally agreed with you. PHP is still the number one web development platform because of its features. - Reply
