Adobe pulls out of Flash and backs HTML5

The once fashionable platform of Flash took a huge blow today when Adobe announced it was pulling out of mobile development. It’s the first time the company has conceded on the fate of the platform. Many web design companies had built up years of experience but we at AWD always knew Flash had short lifespan. We even made it our policy to stay away from Flash sites and using Flash elements very sparingly.

Flash development can even be an embarrassment for some developers who only have portfolios of flash based sites over HTML. With the platform out the way, it gives developers even more freedom to push forward with HTML5 for desktop and Mobile platforms.
